A message from Nancy

The weather out there in this Land of Enchantment is calling you to be outside and enjoy and explore. However, don't forget about your interest in dancing. It is not only for your health, mental, physical and emotionally, but also for the camaraderie of the other dancers out ready to dance. Work and life often get in the way of our interest and this is a reminder to take time for yourself to do something you enjoy doing such as dancing.

I take this opportunity to thank the Board members for all their hard work, a thank you to the volunteers who are key to our Chapter's success. And of course, a thank you to all our members and other dancers who attend the USA Dances held every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month beginning at 6pm at the Albuquerque Square Dance Center for otherwise there would not be a dance to go to.

Some of my goals as President of the NM USA Dance Chapter are to increase attendance at our dances; to make our dances a most enjoyable experience for all; to add value to the membership; to provide more information that our members can utilize and others looking for dancing information can go there and find the answers they need on our website; provide a newsletter that our members enjoy; to achieve more publicity in the community so that we can grow and be able to add seminars and workshops; and to have our members enjoy not only their chapter but benefits that we could provide.

So as we venture this road together I look for your support and assistance in making this a GREAT dance chapter to be a part of. I welcome your input at any time on anything pertaining to USA Dance NM Chapter. You have been supportive since I began and I THANK you deeply and truly for that. I look forward to the dances and seeing you there having a good time. Together we can elevate our Chapter to new heights and I look forward to serving you in my capacity as Chapter President.
