Cap off a big dance weekend Sunday at CSP with USA Dance

USA Dance caps off a big dance weekend with our 1st Sunday dance this Sunday, April 3, from 7 – 9 p.m. at CSP Dance Studios, 1624 Eubank Blvd. NE.  Come early for a free West Coast Swing lesson at 6:15 p.m. Perry Pedersen will be our DJ.

Admission is $5 for USA Dance members and $10 for others. Not a member? Go here to sign up, or fill out a membership form at the dance.

Our dance comes on the heels of the Rio Grande Dance Classic, which is Thursday – Sunday, March 31 – April 3. Several USA Dancers will compete, as will many dance instructors. Between USA Dance and social dances at the competition, intrepid dancers will have an opportunity to enjoy four nights of social dancing in a row. Read more about the Rio Grande Dance Classic below.

Note: All participants at USA Dance must show a one-time proof of vaccination. Masks are now optional.

Dance large this Sunday at USA Dance

Live — and dance — large at USA Dance this weekend. Starting with Sunday’s dance (July 2), we will reopen the entire dance floor and use both halls at the spacious Albuquerque Square Dance Center.

The dance is 3 – 5 p.m. Zephaniah Pilcher (pictured) from CSP Dance Studios will teach a free bachata lesson at 2:15 p.m.

In honor of July 4 we are planning a playlist of All-American artists.
