Celebrate our 20th anniversary by dancing to live music by the High Desert Big Band.
The dance is 6 – 8:30 p.m. Sunday, July 19, at the Albuquerque Square Dance Center.

Our USA Dance chapter — USA Dance of North Central New Mexico — has been named district chapter of the year for 2025. And chapter president Rosie Harper was named district Volunteer of the Year.
Both are now in contention for top honors at USA Dance.
“These honorees represent the very best of USA Dance at the local level and now advance as nominees for the National Chapter of the Year and National Volunteer of the Year awards,“ USA Dance said in a statement.
It’s hard to think about summer when winter is parked on the doorstep. But we promise that those warmer, longer days will return — and when they do, USA Dance will switch to evening dances.
Our new summer schedule kicks off with the June 7 dance. From June through August, all USA Dances will be 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Lessons will start with a line dance class at 5:15 p.m. followed by the beginner and intermediate lessons at 5:45 p.m.

You asked for more line dances (which don’t rely on leaders and followers). And you wanted lessons for intermediate and advanced dancers as well as beginners.
So, starting in March, we are introducing line dance lessons at each dance, followed by simultaneous dance lessons — one for beginners and one for intermediate and advanced dancers.
