Join us for a rockin’ dance on New Year’s Day
Spend a rocking and rolling New Year’s Day with USA Dance! Our first dance of 2023 will be 3 – 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 1, at our new(ish) venue — the Albuquerque Square Dance Center, 4915 Hawkins St. NE.
I am DJing, and I’ll be playing an upbeat selection of rock ’n’ roll classics and covers to get the year off to a lively start, from Chubby Checker to Creedence, the Stones to Springsteen, and the Beatles to the B-52s.
Our own Debra Williams will teach a free waltz lesson at 2:15 p.m. Admission is $5 for USA Dance members and $10 for others.
The Square Dance Center will be our venue for all regular dances in 2023. Dances will be on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month from 3 – 5 p.m. with a lesson at 2:15 p.m.
