Sunday’s USA Dance is jam-packed: Members are free … the Dance Station Junior Competitors will perform … and we’re hosting another sale of gently used dance shoes.
The dance is 3 – 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17. Michiko Sibley teaches a samba lesson at 2:15 p.m. Our venue is the Albuquerque Square Dance Center, 4915 Hawkins St. NE. Andy Nelson will DJ.
Admission is free for USA Dance members and $10 for others.
Join us Sunday, Sept. 3 for an upbeat performance by the Energy and Rhythm Salsa Dance Team (pictured), and a quickstep lesson by Enchantment Dancing’s Cristel Pike.
Cristel’s lesson begins at 2:15 p.m., followed by dancing from 3 – 5 p.m. at the spacious Albuquerque Square Dance Center, 4915 Hawkins St. NE. Doug McClellan will DJ.
If you can walk, you can dance the merengue! Frances Burch of CSP Dance Studios will teach this fun and accessible dance — the national dance of the Dominican Republic — at USA Dance this Sunday, Aug. 20.
The dance is 3 – 5 p.m., and Frances’ lesson begins at 2:15 p.m.
Our next USA Dance is 3 – 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, at the Albuquerque Square Dance Center, 4915 Hawkins St. NE.
Nic Rael of CSP Dance Studios will teach a cha cha lesson at 2:15 p.m.
Doug McClellan will DJ and will play several tunes by the late Tony Bennett.

Live — and dance — large at USA Dance this weekend. Starting with Sunday’s dance (July 2), we will reopen the entire dance floor and use both halls at the spacious Albuquerque Square Dance Center.
The dance is 3 – 5 p.m. Zephaniah Pilcher (pictured) from CSP Dance Studios will teach a free bachata lesson at 2:15 p.m.
