Our Ho Ho Ho-liday party is Sunday at CSP – and members get in free!
Come make merry with us at our Holiday Party, 7 – 9 p.m.Sunday, Dec. 4, at CSP Dance Studios, 1624 Eubank Blvd. NE. There‘s a free waltz lesson at 6:15 p.m. Andy Nelson will DJ.
This is also a Member Appreciation Dance, so all USA Dance members get in for free! Others pay $10. (Not a member? Join today and start saving — membership can save you over $100 in the course of a year.)
We will also elect our Board of Directors for 2023-24. Stepping down are Marfo Akuoku, treasurer, and Charles and Shirley Archuleta. Charles has served as our legal adviser and Shirley as secretary. Thanks to Marfo, Charles and Shirley for all they‘ve done as board members.
Newcomers to the board (subject to the election) are John Cilke, treasurer; Gwen Sun, secretary; and Zann Jones and Jewel Paur, directors-at-large.
Returning to the board are DeAnn Eaton, president; Annie Irizari, vice president; Anna Watkins, director at large for membership; and Rosie Harper and Debra Williams, directors-at-large.

Finally, thanks to all of our volunteers! We can‘t do these dances without you.
We‘re moving! In case you missed the earlier announcement, we are returning to the Albuquerque Square Dance Center, 4915 Hawkins St. NE, for all regular dances in 2023.
Dances will continue to be on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month — but we are discontinuing our evening dances. Instead, all dances will be in the afternoon, from 3 – 5 p.m., with a free lesson at 2:15 p.m.
The first dance at the Square Dance Center will be on New Year‘s Day. We hope you can join us for what should be a rocking start to 2023.
We thank Patti Smith at CSP Dance Studios and Chip Hindi at Enchantment Dancing for allowing us the use of their studios for the past year and a half.
