Our next dance is March 6 at CSP
We’ll keep this post short and sweet:
Our next dance is 7 – 9 p.m. on Sunday, March 6 at CSP Dance Studios, 1624 Eubank Blvd. NE, preceded by a free cha cha lesson at 6:15 p.m. Doug McClellan will DJ.
Admission is $5 for USA Dance members and $10 for others. Not a member? Go here to sign up, or ask for a membership form at our next dance. See you on the dance floor!
Note: Masks are now optional, but we still require that all dancers show a one-time proof of vaccination.
• Rio Grande Dance Classic updates. If you haven’t booked your hotel room for the Rio Grande Dance Classic, March 31 – April 3, you can still take advantage of the special $119 room rate at the Albuquerque Marriott Uptown. And if you are dancing as an amateur couple, or are interested in competing in the Jack & Jill competition on Friday and Saturday nights, April 1 and 2, make sure you download the registration forms from the competition’s website.
If you’re dancing with a professional instructor, your teacher will need to download the registration forms from a password-protected area.
Even if you aren’t competing, there will be a lot of opportunities for social dancing that weekend. The competition organizer is hosting social dances on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, March 31 – April 2. Then, on Sunday night, April 3, USA Dance is hosting our regular 1st Sunday dance. We hope you’ll rest up for what should be a long, fun weekend of dancing!
