Sunday is our last dance of 2022
Our last dance of the year is 3 – 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, at Enchantment Dancing, 337 San Pedro Dr. NE. A free tango lesson starts at 2:15 p.m. Perry Pedersen will DJ. Admission is $5 for USA Dance members and $10 for others.
Dancers no longer need to show proof of a Covid-19 vaccination to attend. Masks are welcome but optional.
Room for squares. We are returning to the Albuquerque Square Dance Center for all regular dances in 2023 — starting New Year’s Day, Jan. 1. The Square Dance Center is at 4915 Hawkins St. NE. Take the Ellison-San Antonio/Osuna exit off of I-25.
Dances will continue to be on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month, but we are eliminating the evening dances. All dances will be 3 – 5 p.m., with a lesson at 2:15 p.m.
2023 Volunteer challenge. Volunteers make our dances happen, and we thank everyone who helped make 2022 successful. “For an even better 2023 we challenge each member to volunteer at least once during the year,“ chapter president DeAnn Eaton said.
It just takes a few minutes before or after a dance to help with setup, check-in, or cleanup. Talk to DeAnn or another board member and pick a date to help. Thanks!
