We’ve dropped our vaccination requirement
The board of our USA Dance chapter has voted to do away with the requirement that dancers be vaccinated against Covid-19. The change is effective immediately, so everyone is invited to join us at this Sunday’s dance, Oct. 16, at Enchantment Dancing, 337 San Pedro Dr. NE.
The dance is 3 – 5 p.m., with a free hustle lesson at 2:15 p.m. Andy Nelson will DJ.
DeAnn Eaton, chapter president, said the board has discussed the vaccination policy at every meeting during the Covid-19 pandemic and decided the time was right to rescind it.
“In part, this decision was based on the many other dance venues that our members attend which no longer have a vaccination policy,” DeAnn said. The new policy, she added, “will increase the number of members who can now attend, as well as attract new members.”
