We host dances for everyone
Whether you love to glide across the ballroom floor to a lyrical waltz, or shake your hips to a groovy salsa, you’ll find a home at USA Dance of North Central New Mexico.
We host social ballroom and Latin dances that bring New Mexicans together. We welcome all dancers, from beginners to competitors, from students to Super Seniors, and from tangueros to Two-Steppers.
We host dances at Albuquerque studios on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month. The 1st Sunday dance is in the evening and the 3rd Sunday dance in the afternoon. Our modest admission fees — $5 for USA Dance members and $10 for others — usually include a lesson at no extra cost.

Founded in 2006, we are the local chapter of USA Dance, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to ballroom dancing.

Change up your cha cha … Sunday at USA Dance
The next USA Dance social dance party is 3 – 5 p.m. this Sunday, April 21, at the Albuquerque Square Dance Center, 4915 Hawkins St. NE.
Come early for a cha cha lesson at 2:15 p.m., taught by Mary Miller of Dance Station. Doug McClellan will DJ.
Admission is $5 for USA Dance members and $10 for others.
Our Jack & Jill contest is Sunday … at USA Dance
The next USA Dance social dance party will feature one of our most entertaining events of the year — a Jack & Jill contest between couples paired at random.
The dance is 3 – 5 p.m. this Sunday, April 7, at the Albuquerque Square Dance Center, 4915 Hawkins St. NE. Andy Nelson will DJ.
