Members are free at Sunday’s USA Dance — and don’t miss our shoe sale & performance by Debra and Stefan
Sunday’s USA Dance is a big one. It’s a Member Appreciation Dance, so USA Dance members get in free. (And if you’re not yet a member, you can sign up at the dance and take advantage of the free admission — or visit the membership page on the USA Dance national website.)
We are also hosting a shoe sale featuring gently used dance shoes that have been donated by our dancers. Real dance shoes make a big difference on the floor, so if you’ve never worn any — or if you need a new pair — come and check out our selection!
Sunday’s dance will feature a performance by our own Debra Williams and instructor Stefan Easter, who will demonstrate the differences between the International and American (smooth) tango styles. Stefan, owner of the 2 Left Feet dance studio, will also teach Sunday’s lesson, on the beautiful (and challenging) Viennese waltz.
You know the deets: the dance is 3 – 5 p.m. this Sunday, June 18. Stefan’s Viennese waltz lesson starts at 2:15 p.m. Our venue is the Albuquerque Square Dance Center, 4915 Hawkins St. NE. Perry Pedersen will DJ.
Admission for this Member Appreciation Dance is free for USA Dance members. Non-members pay $10.
