Ballroom & Bacharach: Sunday, Feb. 19, at USA Dance
Our next dance is 3 – 5 p.m. this Sunday, Feb. 19 at the Albuquerque Square Dance Center, 4915 Hawkins St. NE. DJ Doug McClellan will commemorate the music of Burt Bacharach, the great American songwriter who passed away last week at the age of 94.
From Do You Know the Way to San Jose to The Look of Love, Walk On By to What The World Needs Now (Is Love), Bacharach’s songs are memorable — and, fortunately for us, very danceable.
Come early for a free West Coast Swing lesson at 2:15 p.m., taught by Craig Hogle of Southwesties ABQ.
Remember: All dances are now at the Albuquerque Square Dance Center, on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month.
Admission is $5 for USA Dance members and $10 for others.
