Sunday’s menu at USA Dance: salsa and hips
Our next dance is 3 – 5 p.m. this Sunday, March 5 at the Albuquerque Square Dance Center, 4915 Hawkins St. NE. Perry Pedersen will DJ.
Our dance lesson is salsa, taught by Joseph Chavez of Body’s Emotion Dance & Wellness Center. The lesson starts at 2:15 p.m.
Admission is $5 for USA Dance members and $10 for others.
Remember: All dances are now at the Albuquerque Square Dance Center on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month from 1 – 3 p.m.

No black marks. We’ve had complaints about dancers leaving marks on the Square Dance Center floor, so we ask that you make sure your shoes are clean before you step onto the floor. Even better is to bring a separate pair of shoes for dancing. Thanks for helping us avoid black marks — on the floor and on our reputation!
Dancing at the Rio Grande. The Rio Grande Dance Classic is just a few weeks away: April 13 – 16 at the Albuquerque Marriott Uptown. Several USA Dancers will compete in the ballroom, Latin, swing and Country-Western events. Everyone else is invited to spectate and take part in social dancing and workshops.
