Learn a line dance … Sunday at USA Dance!

We’re starting regular line dance lessons at USA Dance this Sunday, March 1 as we adjust our lesson schedule.

The line dance class will start at 1:45 p.m. Chapter president Rosie Harper will teach the popular Shivers line dance, done to the Ed Sheeran song.

Then, at 2:15 p.m., we will offer two lessons: 

• For beginners and newer dancers, we’ll offer a “Back to Basics” assisted practice session in the small hall.

• For intermediate and advanced dancers, we’ll have an instructor-led lesson in the large hall. Sunday’s lesson is American Tango, taught by Christina Harris of the 2 Left Feet studio. 

The dance itself is 3 – 5 p.m.

Debra Williams and Stefan Easter will perform a foxtrot. Our DJ is Andy Nelson.

Admission for all of this is just $5 for USA Dance members and $10 for others. Our venue is the Albuquerque Square Dance Center, 4915 Hawkins St. NE.

All social dancers are welcome — no partner required. See you on the dance floor!
