Please join USA Dance for our next dance on Friday, Aug. 13, from 7 – 9 p.m. Admission is $5 for everyone. We are returning to Enchantment Dancing, 337 San Pedro Dr. NE (between Lomas and Central).
Enchantment owner Chip Hindi will teach a free lesson at 6:15 p.m.
Both Enchantment ballrooms will be open, with one dedicated to ballroom and the other to rhythm/Latin and swing. Andy Nelson will DJ the ballroom music and Chip will handle the rest.
There are about a dozen parking spaces in front of the Enchantment studio, with more parking in back.
All dancers should wear masks.

Dance notes. Dance Fiesta, Albuquerque’s longest-running ballroom, swing, and Country-Western dance competition, is on the schedule for Sept. 23-26. It’s at the Crowne Plaza Albuquerque for what will be the event’s 31st year.
The ballroom and Latin events are scheduled for the morning and afternoon of Friday, Sept. 23, with country and swing events taking place over the weekend. New this year, Dance Fiesta is opening up the ballroom, swing and Country events to non-gender-specific couples.
Spectators can attend the ballroom and Latin sessions for free. Many USA Dancers participate in Dance Fiesta, so this is a great opportunity to come and cheer on your fellow dancers.
Event organizers will require that all dancers, attendees, and staff members wear masks in light of the latest CDC guidelines. Masks will be provided at registration.
