Twirl to a Viennese Waltz … Sunday at USA Dance

Please join us at the next USA Dance social dance party: 3 – 5 p.m. this Sunday, June 2, at the Albuquerque Square Dance Center, 4915 Hawkins St. NE.

Santa Fe dance teacher David Lopez will teach a Viennese Waltz lesson at 2:15 p.m. Doug McClellan will DJ. (The photo shows a  Viennese Ball in Vienna. You can dance the Viennese Waltz at more than 100 balls in January and February!)

Admission is $5 for USA Dance members and $10 for others.

We get requests … And if you have a song or two you’d like to dance to, please fill out a request form at the resource table in the back of the hall. One of our DJs will get your request on the playlist at an upcoming dance.

We’d like to remind our USA Dancers of a few rules and best practices that will keep us all safe without diminishing our fun.

Save the date: Dec. 4 is our holiday party, board elections

Our annual Holiday Party and membership meeting will take place at our Dec. 4 dance, 7 – 9 p.m. at CSP Dance Studios, 1624 Eubank Blvd. NE.

USA Dance members get in free. Admission for others is $10.

We’ll also elect our board of directors for 2023-24. All nine candidates are running uncontested.
