The next USA Dance social dance party is 3 – 5 p.m. this Sunday, May 19, at the Albuquerque Square Dance Center, 4915 Hawkins St. NE.

Janis Pullen will perform with her instructor and competition partner, Stefan Easter (pictured competing at Dance Fiesta). They’ll dance a Latin medley, featuring elements of paso doble, samba, cha cha, and mambo.

Come early for a rumba lesson, taught by Brittany Sanchez of CSP Dance Studios at 2:15 p.m. Perry Pedersen will DJ.

Admission is $5 for USA Dance members and $10 for others.

Shimmy like Santa (and Mrs. Claus) at our Holiday Party: 3 – 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15!

It’s our last dance of the year and a Member Appreciation Dance, which means free admission for USA Dance members. Others pay $10.

Come early for a quickstep lesson, taught by David Lopez of Santa Fe, at 2:15 p.m. Debra Williams and Perry Pedersen will also perform, and we’ll have election for two new board members.

We encourage dancers to dress up in festive semiformal holiday wear. They are also invited to bring finger foods to share, along with toothpicks or serving tongs.

Our next social ballroom dance is 3 – 5 p.m. this Sunday, Feb. 19 at the Albuquerque Square Dance Center, 4915 Hawkins St. NE.

DJ Doug McClellan will commemorate the music of Burt Bacharach (pictured), the great American songwriter who passed away last week at the age of 94.

Come early for a free West Coast Swing lesson at 2:15 p.m., taught by Craig Hogle of Southwesties ABQ.

All social dancers are invited. We play music for dancing ballroom, Latin, swing, tango, Country and more.
