USA Dance news. USA Dance, our parent organization, has opened registration for the 2022 National Ballroom DanceSport Championships. Nationals this year will be April 1-3 in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Nationals is open to amateur, pro-am, and professional couples. If you’ve never competed before, this is a great year to consider doing so because couples do not have to qualify first at a regional competition. (The rules were relaxed this year because Covid disrupted the usual schedule of qualifying regional competitions.)
Nationals has something for all age groups and levels, from newcomers dancing bronze to seasoned dancers competing in national Championship events. If you’d like to learn more about the experience of dancing at Nationals, talk to Doug McClellan or Eileen Tenn.
