Members are free … Sunday at USA Dance!
Our next dance, on Sunday, March 16, is a Member Appreciation Dance. USA Dance members are free, while others pay $10. This dance also marks our chapter’s 19th anniversary. And since the following Monday is St. Patrick’s Day, you’re invited to wear something green.
Sunday’s dance is 3 – 5 p.m. Our 2:15 p.m. lesson is East Coast Swing, taught by Joseph Chavez. Joseph and chapter President Rosie Harper (pictured) will also perform an Argentine tango. Doug McClellan will DJ. Our venue is the Albuquerque Square Dance Center, 4915 Hawkins St. NE.
Fun with FUNdamentals. Joseph Chavez returns on Sunday, March 30 to teach three workshops on dance fundamentals. It’s a great opportunity for USA Dancers to work on their skills and make their social dancing more fun and fulfilling.

The Paparazzi Files. Our Academy Awards dance on March 2 was box-office dynamite. Thanks to everyone who turned out dressed like their favorite movie star or character. Fortunately, the paparazzi were there with cameras in hand. See their photos here.
