Summer Days (And Summer Nights)
We’re changing to evening dances from June — August

It’s hard to think about summer when winter is parked on the doorstep. But we promise that those warmer, longer days will return — and when they do, USA Dance will switch to evening dances.
Our new summer schedule kicks off with the June 7 dance. From June through August, all USA Dances will be 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Lessons will start with a line dance class at 5:15 p.m. followed by the beginner and intermediate lessons at 5:45 p.m.
”Although Fred Astaire sang about Dancing In The Dark, we’re choosing to go Dancing in the Daylight,” said Rosie Harper, chapter president.
”Thanks to the change in seasons, we can dance in the evenings during summer — and still have some daylight for driving home,“ she added. ”Enjoy the extra time for gardening, golfing, hiking, etc., and end your day with dancing!“
Long-time dancers will recall that USA Dance used to hold evening dances exclusively. Our summer schedule means we’ll be done when there’d still twilight.
