Our next dance is 3 – 5 p.m. this Sunday, Aug. 3. Michiko Sibley will teach a smooth waltz lesson at 2:15 p.m. Debra Williams will lead our “Back to Basics” assisted coaching session from 1:30 – 2 p.m.

You can participate in all of these for the price of one admission: $5 for USA Dance members and $10 for others. We welcome all dancers to our social dances, which focus on ballroom, Latin, swing, and club dances. We host dances on the first and third Sundays of the month.

Perry Pedersen will DJ. (Andy Nelson was previously scheduled as DJ but will do the Aug. 17 dance instead.)

Our venue is the Albuquerque Square Dance Center, 4915 Hawkins St. NE.

  • Get 3 for 1 … Sunday at USA Dance!

With our new “Back to Basics” assisted coaching sessions, dancers now get a 3-for-1 deal every time they come to USA Dance. For the price of one admission, dancers can take advantage of: a 30-minute B2B coaching session; a 45-minute lesson with a professional dance teacher; and a 2-hour dance. Not even Prime Day has deals this good!

Check it out for yourself at our dance this Sunday, July 20. The dance itself is 3 – 5 p.m. Cristel Pike will teach a bolero lesson at 2:15 p.m. Greg Collison, a retired dance teacher and member of our board, will lead the B2B assisted coaching session from 1:30 – 2 p.m.

All of these are included in our regular admission: just $5 for USA Dance members and $10 for others.

  • Say It With Flowers … Sunday at USA Dance!

We hope you had a great Mother’s Day … and we hope you’ll help us continue the theme at our next dance on Sunday, May 18.

“Wear floral prints, or flowers in your hair or lapel, for all mothers everywhere — including Mother Earth and Mother Nature,” says Rosie Harper, our chapter president. Rosie also invites dancers to bring photos of their mothers for a special display.
