Spend a rocking and rolling New Year’s Day with USA Dance! Our first dance of 2023 will be 3 – 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 1, at our new(ish) venue — the Albuquerque Square Dance Center, 4915 Hawkins St. NE.
We’ll play an upbeat selection of rock ’n’ roll classics and covers to get the year off to a lively start, from Chubby Checker to Creedence, the Stones to Springsteen, and the Beatles to the B-52s.
USA Dance will return to the Albuquerque Square Dance Club for all regular dances starting in January.
Our last dance of the year is 3 – 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, at Enchantment Dancing, 337 San Pedro Dr. NE. A free tango lesson starts at 2:15 p.m. Perry Pedersen will DJ. Admission is $5 for USA Dance members and $10 for others. Dancers no longer need to show proof of a Covid-19…
