Our next USA Dance — this Sunday, April 2 — features a lesson that’s been three years in the making.

Susan and Gary Kellogg were originally scheduled to teach a Night Club Two-Step lesson in March 2020. But that dance never happened — it was our first casualty of the coronavirus pandemic. So we’ve invited them back to finish what they never got a chance to start.

Sunday’s dance is 3 – 5 p.m. at the Albuquerque Square Dance Center, 4915 Hawkins St. NE. Doug McClellan will DJ. The Kellogg’s Night Club lesson starts at 2:15 p.m.

Our next social ballroom dance is 3 – 5 p.m. this Sunday, Feb. 19 at the Albuquerque Square Dance Center, 4915 Hawkins St. NE.

DJ Doug McClellan will commemorate the music of Burt Bacharach (pictured), the great American songwriter who passed away last week at the age of 94.

Come early for a free West Coast Swing lesson at 2:15 p.m., taught by Craig Hogle of Southwesties ABQ.

All social dancers are invited. We play music for dancing ballroom, Latin, swing, tango, Country and more.
